We are committed to fostering a sense of community, encouraging active lifestyles, and supporting the development of youth and adults through accessible and inclusive recreational opportunities.

Who We Are
The Springfield Metropolitan Recreation District is a Special District in Colorado dedicated to creating and maintaining recreational spaces that bring people together. We own and maintain the baseball fields in Springfield and offer diverse recreational opportunities, including youth and adult sports, alternative events, and learning experiences that cater to all ages.

Our district operates with the guidance of a dedicated board and staff members who are passionate about serving the needs of our community. We continuously work towards improving and expanding our programs to meet the evolving interests of our residents.

What We Offer
We provide a variety of recreational opportunities, including:

Organized youth sports leagues such as football, volleyball, basketball, wrestling, baseball, softball, and soccer
